It
was announced on Friday that the WWE has lifted Jerry “The King” Lawler’s suspension,
effective immediately. The announcer and Hall of Fame wrestler had been
suspended since June 17, when he and his fiancée were arrested on charges of
domestic assault.
Lawler
will be able to return to Smackdown as early as next Tuesday. He had been
replaced on the commentary desk by David Otunga. Jerry “The King” Lawler is
likely still set to be a permanent part of the Smackdown announce team.
