first trip to the Octagon didn’t last long. WWE champion CM Punk fell to MickyGall the wonderkid which was completely a one sided bout. He submitted in LESS
THAN 3 MINUTES!! He fell on his back in just about 10 seconds into the fight. This
came after Brock Lesnar dominated Mark Hunt at UFC200 equally savagely!
“Sometimes
the outcome isn’t always what you desire it to be, but the true failure in life
is not trying at all!” Punk said in an inspirational post-fight interview. Punkalso said “I didn’t get to the summit tonight but it doesn’t mean I am going to
give up, it doesn’t mean I am going anywhere and it doesn’t mean I am going to
give up.”
Punk's
first foray into mixed martial arts was on the under-card of heavyweight Stipe Miocic's title defence against Alistair Overeem.
